Clique Photo Club

Clique is a community site where users can share their casual photography projects and receive professional feedback.

Built in WordPress, the site also utilises Fairfax’s member login API with an extra layer built in specifically for Clique.

Shark Bites

An interactive infographic created for the three part series dealing with Australia’s relationship with sharks.

Taking a massive spreadsheet from the “Global Shark Attack File”, the data was condensed down to be specific to Australia and delivered in an informative, but easily digestible widget.

Climate Map

This interactive climate map shows the effects current climate trends may have on Australia, based on CSIRO’s “Climate Futures” model.

A combination of data analysis, HTML5 mapping and JavaScript – it displays a dense data set in a way that is doesn’t overwhelm the audience.

Decoding Genius

This mini-site was created as a portal for GE’s “Decoding Genius” podcast.

The unique challenge with modern podcast delivery is accommodating the multiple methods of audience consumption. So while housing a custom built in-browser audio player, the site also has access to popular podcast listening methods.

A WordPress blog built for Australia, NZ & PNG wing of General Electric, this website was created so editors and engineers alike can easily post content from the innovations happening within the company.

This WordPress template, built especially for this project, is an ideal template for housing video, stories, photos and infographics, while looking new and interesting.

Phantom Call

An animation created in After Effects for Melbourne Cup day, this fictional race took the best horses from past races and competed them in this “what-if” scenario.

“Phantom Call” received the Award of Excellence in the 2015 SND Best of Digital Design competition

MIAF 2014 Trailer

Created entirely in a corner of my bedroom, this trailer for MIAF 2014 was used to promote the festival online and screened at the start of every session.

Built in Flash and After Effects using the animations of Neil Sanders, Ivan Dixon and myself, this trailer truly captures the bizarre nature of the long running festival.

And then there were none

With words by Bridie Smith and the beautiful illustrations of Joe Benke, this piece tells the story of the unfortunate position conservationists are put in deciding which endangered animals can be saved.

“And then there were none” took home the award for Best Use of Digital or Social Media at the 2014 Quills.

7-Eleven Revealed

Made in conjunction with Fairfax Media and Four Corners, this mini-site was created to house the special investigation into the 7-Eleven wage scandal.

Featuring video interviews, audio clips and explainer animations this rich multimedia package was able to bring an extra layer to the story traditional media could not.

This piece won the 2015 Quill award for Best Use of Digial or Social Media.

LoopDeLoop Dance Party

As a collective effort from the animation community, LoopDeLoop requested small looping animations synced to supplied music tracks. After receiving over 100 submissions, four separate videos were created.

The video for “In Fielder” by Miro Belle received Vimeo’s “Staff Pick” for the day.

In conjunction with The Age’s coverage of Melbourne International Film Festival 2016, I created this tool to help navigate the seemingly infinite available possibilities.

Powered by an external JSON file, this template is able to be re-purposed for future MIFF’s, but also festivals, events or picking an AFLW team.
